Same issue, though mine is a bit wierder. I set the resolution to a 4k resolution and had no problems, except black bars on the side. Changed it to 4k, no black bars but no sound either I had this issue as well.
I had no audio when I switched to fullscreen mode in the settings. Try changing to windowed mode and set the resolution tothis should basically look fullscreen and hopefully fix your audio issue. I also had to change to windowed mode a couple times because the setting wouldn't stick. So change the setting and close the game, open it again and if you still don't have audio make sure the setting is still set, if not, try again.
Also make sure it isn't set to Windowed Fullscreen, that didn't work for me either. It has to be set to Windowed. Last edited by pjauger ; 27 Jan, am. I have fixed it by changed the screen settings. They were not saved and not correct. Change settings, leave game and restart.Charkha working
I fixed it! It'll install some dependencies for the unreal engine. It worked after that. Yup it worked. Resolvi alternando de tela cheia para modo janela. I think the problem is the window does not have focus by default when you launch the game by steam If you use a controller you can still play the game even when it doesn't have focus, but with no sound.

In addition to the computational gain by non having to deal w the decompression process in a game which might be necessary if using s of sounds, but you suggested this is mostly for music. I only mention these things because I thought a while ago how cool it would be to have.

It should saves some more space taken by the installer. Also considering most PC nowadays have a few GB of its main memory, we could also load the uncompressed PCM data into the memory and stream it from there given that there is only a few large music file loaded at the same time. Having uncompressed audio in the memory would also eliminate the latency from the decoder, which is quite important for music games.

But, I need to be able to play the same sound while the current one is playing, so effectively these two or more should mix and play at the same time. Is there something here that I've missed, or it's not possible with my current solution perhaps SubmixVoices could help? I was hoping to be able to play a TTS prompt during a geofence transition. Looks like that might not be possible. Obviously it would require the user to tap on the notification for it to work.
